Frutarom, USA launches BLIS M18, which is made from S. salivarius. This probiotic bacteria promotes oral health. Says the company, “A daily intake of BLIS M18 can aid in protecting teeth from bacteria known to cause tooth decay, while protecting teeth from erosion caused by high-acid foods and helping break up dental plaque.” BLIS M18 can be formulated into lozenges, chewable tablets, chewing gums, stick packs, fast-melt tablets and powdered drinks.
