WILD Flavors GmbH headquartered in Zug, Switzerland has signed an agreement with Cargill, based in the Netherlands, to acquire its global juice cold blends and compounds business.

An ingredient from BioCell Technology of Newport Beach, CA, BioCell Collagen, is a finalist for the Most Innovative Ingredient at the Nutraceutical Business & Technology Awards 2012, to be given out in Geneva, Switzerland.

Sabinsa Corporation of East Windsor, NJ received a European patent for its SelenoForce ingredient. Also, Sabinsa Korea hosted Sabinsa On Wheels in South Korea, which featured science-intensive seminars about several of the company’s patented ingredients.

Albion of St. Clair Shores, MI, co-sponsored a symposium at the American Society for Nutrition’s Scientific Sessions and Annual Experimental Biology Meeting 2012 in San Diego, CA in April. It covered  “Zinc Nutrition: From Discovery to Global Health Impact.”

The Indena Web site (www.indena.com) now incorporates several social media elements such as a YouTube channel, Flickr account and LinkedIn profile. Indena is headquartered in Milan, Italy.

Nutraceuticals International Group of Elmwood Park, NJ opened an office in Tijuana that will focus on the domestic Mexican and Latin American market.
