WILD Flavors GmbH, based in Zug, Switzerland completed its acquisition of some assets of Kalamazoo, MI-based A.M. Todd Ingredients.

E.I.D.-Parry (India) Limited has announced the acquisition of 100% of the voting shares of Valensa International. States the company “Valensa will continue to operate as a Limited Liability Company based in Eustis, Florida (USA), with Dr. Rudi E. Moerck as its President and CEO.”

Vancouver, WA-based Bergstrom Nutrition launched a redesigned web site about the health benefits of its proprietary MSM formulation. Aker BioMarine will acquire the vessel Thorshøvdi for approximately NOK 138.9 million ($24.7 million USD). According to the company, “The vessel is acquired with connected fishing gear for continued operation and in connection with the purchase, Aker BioMarine has been awarded a purchase approval and a krill trawl concession for fisheries of krill in remote waters by the Directorate of Fisheries.” Now, the firm will own and operate two krill trawlers and one freighter vessel in the Antarctic.
