Purchase, NY-based Quality of Life Labs LLC acquired the rights to the “Perfect Smile” brand and the patent license for the use of MicroActive CoQ10 in oral care products from Bioactives LLC.

derma e relocated and expanded its corporate headquarters. The new address is 2130 Ward Avenue in Simi Valley, CA. The company tripled the size of its facility to “help support derma e growth, innovation and future development plans.”

In other news, derma e recently completed clinical testing on its Firming DMAE Moisturizer and found it to be as effective as a premium brand (Perricone MD Face Finishing Moisturizer) for improving skin firmness, elasticity, hydration and barrier function. The blinded split-face test involved 55 women ages 37 to 65.

The International Alliance of Dietary/Food Supplement Associations recently endorsed the ABC-AHP-NCNPR Botanical Adulterants Program.

SoapBox Soaps recently partnered with Whole Foods Market to donate thousands of bars of soap to local non-profits and foods banks. The partnership began with a 10,000-bar donation and will continue with 139 participating stores. For every bar of soap sold, a bar will be donated to a non-profit in that region.

Author and PR Pilates studio owner Jessica Dumanch has a new ebook, entitled Omega Method #5 Gourmet Protein Shakes.
