Columbus, OH—The 2015 Natural Products Association (NPA)/MAHO Expo, which was held July 24-26 at the Hilton Columbus, has wrapped up and preparation for next year’s event has already started.

Bill Strandwitz, Ph.D., of Marilyn’s Natural Foods, Coshocton, OH, wrote in a letter to Midwest Region/MAHO President Judy Stamper that he feels this tradeshow is even more useful to attend than national shows: “The speakers, hotel’s food and retailers’ expo were outstanding. With all of the medical seminars and other trade shows I have attended over the past 25 years, none are as smoothly run as [MAHO].”

The Expo, also known as the “Summer Splash,” had a show floor with over 100 companies “offering product information, new products, show special and discounts to attending retails,” according to show organizers.

In addition to the show floor, those in attendance were given the opportunity to attend workshops. These educational sessions included “Uncommon Healing Herbs” with Jane Hawley Stevens of Four Elements; “The Importance of Seafood Sustainability” by Sam Wiley of Wiley’s Finest Wild Alaskan Fish Oil; “Inheriting the Benefits of Whole Foods” by Carl Germano of Bluebonnet Nutrition, and many more.

Susan Dixon of Nutra Foods Huber Heights, Dayton, OH, says, “The speakers are such a high level—as good as a national show. I absolutely enjoy everything.”

Next year’s event will be held on July 22-24, at the same location to mark the 40th anniversary of the Midwest Region of the NPA.
