Clintion, MI-based Eden Foods won an “Outstanding Cold Beverage” Sofi award from the National Association for the Specialty Food Trade (NASFT) for its Organic Concord Grape Juice.

Stevia-based sweeteners manufacturer and distributor Steviva Brands, Portland, OR, has partnered with Trek Bicycles to promote the American Diabetes Association’s 20th annual Tour de Cure. Individuals can register to win a Madone 3.1 bicycle at 50 participating retail locations as part of the promotion.

Coca-Cola has been asked in a resolution supported by 26% of its shareholders to disclose its plans about the use of bisphenol-A (BPA) in its beverage can linings.

The Summer Fancy Food Show, the largest tradeshow for specialty foods and beverages in North America, has made a donation of over 100,000 pounds of chocolate, cheese and other specialty foods to food pantries in the District of Columbia area, where the show was held this year. The donation was made in partnership with DC Central Kitchen (DCCK), and anti-hunger and outreach organization.
