Fort Lauderdale, FLFlorida-based Tunies Natural Grocery & Vitamin Market is opening up a new location in Fort Lauderdale in Q1 2015.

The company already has two 15,000 square foot stores in Coral Springs and Palm Beach Gardens.  This new 17,000 square foot space will bring 40 new jobs to the area for what the company describes as “passionate health conscious individuals.” In a statement, Taylor Hamilton, owner of Tunie’s, states, “We’re proud to be able to open our 3rd store in Fort Lauderdale. Tunie’s is about making healthy living affordable to everyone.”

In operation for over 20 years, Tunies claim to fame has been offering 100% all natural groceries and supplements, along with vitamins, organic produce, health and beauty products and pet products. Both current stores offer some more unique options, like an organic juice bar and fresh in house prepared foods. Tunie’s also provides educational services, like a full time licensed nutritionist to provide free nutritional counseling for customers, as well as regular free health seminars on a variety of topics given by local healthcare professionals and industry leaders. Hamilton considers this educational focus to be a major part of the company vision along with affordability, saying, “we focus on educating our customers to empower them to make informed decisions about what types of foods they eat, and supplements they take.”

The new Fort Lauderdale store will be at 900 North Federal Highway, Fort Lauderdale FL, 33304 in the Park Plaza on the Curve Center.
