MediterraMediterra Inc. added two new flavors to its line of Mediterranean diet-inspired nutrition bars: Kale/Pumpkin Seed and Bell Pepper/Green Olive. Like the original Tomato/Basil and Black Olive/Walnut Savory Bars, the new flavors are low in calories and sugar and rich in vegetables, nuts, herbs and seeds. The bars also contain protein-rich pea crisps, amaranth and olive oil.

Deep River SnacksDeep River Snacks has a new addition: HONCHOS Tortilla Chips. These tortilla chips are made with 90–100% organic ingredients, are 100% non-GMO and are certified gluten-free. In addition, HONCHOS are made without artificial dyes, flavors and preservatives. Flavors include Nacho Cheese, Ranch and Peach Habanero.

ZolaZola Fruits of the World released two new products: Chocolate Coconut Water and Acai with Mango and Chia. The chocolate flavor has just 11 g of sugar per serving. Meanwhile, the company says, “The tropical flavor profile of mango and the addition of organic ground chia is a direct response to consumer and retailer demand for more delicious chia products in a rapidly expanding category.”

NutivaNew from Nutiva are Organic Buttery Coconut Oil and Organic Superseed Blend. Both are organic, non-GMO and vegan. The expeller-pressed refined coconut oil is non-hydrogenated and contains no cholesterol. The Superseed Blend combines the power of flax, chia and hemp into one package.

Simply7Simply7 kale chips are made from kale and potatoes. The combination offers the health benefits of a traditional kale chip (nearly 80% of the recommended daily intake of vitamin K) and the crunch of a traditional potato chip without any artificial ingredients. Varieties include Kale Sea Salt, Kale Dill Pickle, Kale Lemon and Olive Oil.
